Introducing fireadaptednetwork.org: The New Home of FAC Net!

Authors: Emily Troisi

After a few long months of brain storming, creative sessions and hard work with our contractor, we are extremely excited to announce the new FAC Net website!

New Functionality

The updated website has a bunch of new and improved features. Below are some of my favorites.

  • Increased connections among FAC practitioners. Through the map and member directory, users can click on member profiles where they can learn about the member’s various projects and pull up their blog posts. You can search for FAC practitioners by FAC-related interest or by location. Create your profile today and connect with your peers around the country!
  • A more searchable, shareable resource library. Search our resources by type (quick guide, video, etc.) and by topic (watershed protection, fire recovery, etc.), and share these videos and publications with partners and community leaders!
  • Continuing our high-quality blog featuring lessons learned and stories from FAC practitioners like you. We will still be posting twice per week, and if you are not subscribed, please sign up so you’ll never miss a post!
  • Introducing the new FAC Net newsletter. If you missed the announcement introducing our e-newsletter, please read it to find out what you get by subscribing!
  • A brand new homepage featuring key resources, recent blogs, links to our map, member and, social media accounts, and more.

Please share the new site with your partners, encourage them to create profiles, peruse and share resources, and explore all of the new information on the site!
