Fire Adapted Bailey is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working in the Bailey area from Woodside to Kenosha Pass in northeast Park County. The goal of Fire Adapted Bailey is to spread wildfire awareness, and education to the communities in the Bailey area. It also acts as a place for Firewise leaders from communities in Bailey to discuss strategy, and coordinate fire mitigation efforts. Fire Adapted Bailey has a working group comprised of: Five Active Bailey Area Firewise Communities, Platte Canyon Fire Protection District, Platte Canyon Fire Protection District Wildland Fire Module, Elk Creek Fire Protection, District, Coalition for the Upper South Platte (CUSP), and Park County Department of Emergency Management.
