Living in the small Rural Community of the “Village of Kaslo” for the past 23 years, I am a semi-retired Resource Technician and lead an active Volunteer life in our community. I have significant background in GIS and Community Wildfire protection and have invested time in fuel management (in and around our community) and FireSmart planning, over the past dozen years. Our community, although trying to become a Fire Adapted Community, needs to work towards this. I and a few like-minded associates want to help engage our community through the FAC process.

Kaslo and Area Community Interest Group

A local citizens group was self-formed (as a Community Interest Group) to assist our Regional Wildfire Risk Reduction Group (on a local basis) to assist in any way we can. Our experience and backgrounds in Fuel Management, FireSmart and general fire fighting experience, leads us to believe we could provide support to this Group!
