Fuel Reduction Along Private Roadway

Roadside clearing for ingress/egress of fire apparatus and residents during a wildfire. This includes creating a turnout suitable for incoming fire apparatus to get off roadway to allow residents to safely exit along a narrow uphill stretch of roadway.

Defensible Space Creation

Help residents create Defensible Space as well as clear and thin vegetation to each of their property lines.

Water Sources for Fighting Fires

1) Create driveways to local water sources/ponds and 2) add at least one 10,000 to 20,000 water storage tank(s) to provide water for firefighting. Area has no piped water or fire hydrants within 10 miles, so individual residents have water wells.
