The Orderville Fire Department is a department in the Town of Orderville, located in southern Utah.

The Orderville Fire Department and the Town of Orderville are participating in the state of Utah’s new Wildfire Policy.

We are starting to prepare a Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan to address the actions and goals that would help make our community a fire adapted community.

We have several small fuels reduction projects planned to hopefully minimize the spread of fire in several of the dry wash bends and a creek bed that run through the community. We are also doing several road right-of-way projects to clear heavy brush away from the sides of the roads.

We are using the Ready, Set, Go and Utah Living with Fire as our platform for our community outreach and prevention and education, we have the Quick Series Wildfire Preparedness pamphlets we are using for community outreach.

We are in the learning and building phase of our fuels mitigation program and are open to learning from others and what they are doing in their communities.
