Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX) Lead
Phil Dye has served as Incident Commander for several NorCal TREXs as well as the inaugural Cascadia TREX. Phil was also Plans Section Chief for one NorCal TREX, two Klamath TREXs and two Loup TREXs, Training Specialist for the first ever WTREX, and Burn Boss for one project at the Spanish Language TREX. Wildland Fire Pre-Plan Advisor
We are working with land management agencies around the Greater SF Bay Area to provide input and help develop wildland fire pre-plans to allow for more efficient wildfire response and to protect communities. In addition, our goal is to springboard from these response plans to more active vegetation management.
