After 22-years of fire restoration advocacy in California I (Craig) retired from Sierra Forest Legacy and have started a new non-profit and project called The Fire Restoration Group. I maintain membership in the Fire MOU Partnership and I am the co-chair of the Steering Committee for this group.

Primary interest is work on removing barriers (ecological, social, political) to achieving ecologically significant restoration of fire on the California landscape within appropriate fire regimes. Also interested in expanding fire restoration communication in the media, within communities, and with public policy makers.
