The Wasatch Front Area of the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands manages, sustains and strengthens Utah’s forests, rangelands, sovereign lands and watersheds for its citizens and visitors within Davis, Morgan, Salt Lake, Tooele, and Utah counties.

The Wildland Urban Interface Coordinator for the Wasatch Front Area promotes, manages and directs fuels reduction efforts and coordinates community wildfire preparedness programs.

The Wasatch Front Area directs the Wasatch Front Fire Adapted Communities Coalition (WFFACC). WFFACC serves as a forum to coordinate efforts to reduce wildfire risk in Wasatch Front communities through community fire planning and fuels management.
